Support and communications
We retain messages, attachments and information you provide when you contact support, respond to a survey or request a demonstration.
3. How we use information
We use personal data to:
- create and secure your account;
- provide requested features;
- process generations, analysis, exports and publications;
- administer trials, Credits, subscriptions, invoices and payments;
- provide support and troubleshoot incidents;
- prevent fraud, abuse and security threats;
- understand use of the Service and improve it;
- send essential account communications;
- send marketing communications where permitted;
- meet legal, accounting and tax obligations; and
- establish or defend legal rights.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in securing and improving a B2B service, your consent for optional marketing or tracking, and compliance with law.
4. Providers and recipients
We share information only where needed to operate the Service, at your direction or as required by law.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, content delivery, networking and security. Depending on the Cloudflare products used by Vuzz, information may also be stored or processed through its global infrastructure.
Stripe
Stripe, LLC processes payments, billing and certain fraud checks. Stripe may process some information as our provider and other information for its own regulatory responsibilities.
Google LLC processes information needed when you choose Google sign-in. Google may provide other integrations only if you authorize them separately.
Generative-service providers
Vuzz sends text, image, video, voice or lip-sync providers only the materials required for the generation you request. The active providers at launch are:
[GENERATION PROVIDERS TO CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION]
This list must be updated when Vuzz adds or replaces a material provider.
Connected platforms
When you connect a social network, publishing service, store or external storage provider, we send the information needed to carry out your requested action. Those providers also apply their own policies.
Other recipients
We may disclose information to:
- legal, tax and accounting advisers;
- support, email, analytics or security providers enabled for Vuzz;
- authorities where legally required; and
- a potential buyer in a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal data for money. If we later introduce a practice treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under a US privacy law, we will provide any required opt-out mechanism.
5. Private content and service improvement
Vuzz uses private project content to provide the features you request, secure the Service, troubleshoot and provide support.
We do not use private project content in advertising, case studies or public examples without your permission.
How generation providers retain or use submitted materials depends on their business offerings, settings and contractual terms. Vuzz seeks to use business-appropriate offerings and to limit retention or secondary use where those options are available. The provider list above must match the providers and settings actually used at launch.
6. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.
As a general approach:
- account information and projects are retained while the account is active;
- after account deletion, active data is deleted or anonymized within a target period of 30 days unless another obligation applies;
- residual copies may remain in protected backups for a target maximum of 90 days;
- security and error logs are generally retained for up to 12 months;
- support communications may be retained for up to 24 months after closure;
- invoices and transaction data are retained for periods required by accounting, tax and anti-fraud rules; and
- information related to a dispute or investigation may be retained until resolution.
These periods may be shortened or extended where law, security or the nature of the information requires it.
7. International transfers
ROI PERFORMANCE LLC and some providers are located in the United States or process information in multiple countries.
Where European law requires safeguards, transfers are supported by a recognized mechanism such as standard contractual clauses, an adequacy decision or the applicable data-privacy framework of the provider.
If Vuzz is required to appoint a representative in the European Union, those details will be added to this policy before the relevant deployment.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, security logging and specialized providers.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and avoid uploading highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for content creation.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request:
- access to personal data;
- correction;
- deletion;
- a portable copy of certain data;
- restriction of or objection to certain processing;
- withdrawal of consent; and
- information about categories of data and recipients.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message.
To exercise your rights, contact support@vuzz.ai. We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity and authority over the account.
Individuals in the European Economic Area may also complain to their local data-protection authority.
10. Deletion and disconnection
You may delete projects, disconnect third-party services or request account deletion through available settings or by contacting support@vuzz.ai.
Disconnecting a service stops future synchronization but does not necessarily delete information already imported into a project. You may delete that information separately.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
Vuzz uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies to operate and secure the website and application.
Strictly necessary technologies
These may be used to:
- maintain your session;
- remember language and essential preferences;
- secure authentication;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- store cookie choices;
- enable Stripe payments; and
- enable Google sign-in when you select it.
These technologies are necessary to provide or secure the service you request.
Audience measurement and improvement
With your analytics consent, Vuzz uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure page views, traffic sources and journeys through the site.
Where consent is required, non-essential tools are enabled only after your choice. Tools configured without cookies or qualifying for an exemption may operate on another lawful basis where permitted.
Advertising and social media
If Vuzz enables advertising pixels, retargeting or similar tools, they will be listed in the consent manager and enabled only after consent where required.
Managing your choices
On your first visit, you may be offered:
- Accept all;
- Reject non-essential cookies; and
- Customize.
You may change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
The current list of cookies, providers, purposes and durations should be displayed in the consent manager used on the website.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the product, providers or law. The update date appears at the top of the page.
For material changes, we may notify you by email or in the application.
